Mark Williams

Mark joined the Pearson team in 2023 bringing with him a wealth of experience not only in IT, but also in management.

He is responsible for all the client interfacing data and internal work systems across our three busy sites, as well as giving crucial support to colleagues working remotely.

Since the pandemic at Pearson some of our staff operate either working from home or a hybrid system and this does require a lot of support from Mark and the management team.

His previous roles have included; General Manager and Operations Manager also responsible for Health & Safety and HR.  He also has experience as Data Protection Manager covering GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), ISO 27001(Information Security Management Systems), PCIDSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)

What he enjoys about his role is working out why something in the system is suddenly not working and solving those problems for the solicitors and support staff he works with.

IT is an area that is constantly developing and as part of his role Mark is looking forward to developing new systems to improve client service , as well as upgrading the  technical infrastructure.

In his spare time he enjoys playing and coaching basketball.

Little known fact about Mark – he coached at National League level Lancashire Basketball Club (Juniors) until lockdown.
