Leigh Sunter

Leigh is a valuable member of our Litigation team and represents clients from SME’s to large corporates in all aspects of debt recovery from sending Pre-Action Protocol letters, issuing County Court proceedings and obtaining judgment and enforcement proceedings.

She also works with clients in respect of Bankruptcy proceedings and Winding-Up proceedings.

In addition, Leigh advises landlords and tenants in an individual and business capacity.

She worked initially as a legal secretary and so knows all sides of the business.  From 2004 she became a fee earner and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2014.

“I enjoy the challenge of every case. The best part is making a recovery for the client.  I look at every option for recovering debts so that if a recovery isn’t made then the client can at least see that all options have been exhausted.”

In her spare time, she enjoys going for long walks and gardening (generally being outside weather permitting!). She also likes spending time in Whitby at the family caravan.
