Charlotte Wilson
Charlotte is a Paralegal in our busy child care department and is currently working towards qualifying as a solicitor.
She enjoys the challenge of this type of work and working with a wide cross section of clients.
Charlotte gained a 2:1 degree in Law from the Manchester Metropolitan University and began her legal career as an administration assistant, which she says gave her a great understanding of clients, what their needs are and how to deal with their cases.
Whilst studying she was treasurer for Manchester Law School and a support through court volunteer in family and civil matters at Manchester Civil and Justice Centre.
She previously worked at a law firm in Manchester but moved to work with the growing care team at Pearson Solicitors.
I enjoy helping clients, learning new things and going to Court, meeting other legal professionals and working with barristers on the cases.
Working together to safeguard children is one of the highlights of the job and it’s particularly rewarding to see positive outcomes in cases for them.
In her spare time, she enjoys charitable challenges and recently ran a half marathon for Macmillan.
She climbed Snowdon a few months ago, and is due to climb Ben Nevis next month, she then has her sights set on a three-peak challenge.
