Solicitors are Getting Down and Dirty to Fight Cancer
A team of solicitors will be swapping court shoes for trainers this weekend when they take on the Pretty Muddy challenge to raise funds for Cancer Research.
The race at Heaton Park will see the team of solicitors and support staff from Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers tackle a huge mud slide, crawl through tunnels of mud, clamber over netting as well a whole host of other obstacles – supported and sponsored by the Partners at the firm the team hope to raise an additional £1,000 for the charity.
Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is a series of women-only events raising money for research into all 200 types of cancer.
“We all know someone who has been affected by cancer and so it seemed a good opportunity to get together, have a fun day out, do something energetic and raise funds at the same time,” said Pearson Communications Manager Suzanne Wright.
Anyone wanting to sponsor the team can make a donation on the Cancer Research UK Give page
