Shortlisted for Conveyancing in National Award
Local law firm Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers have been shortlisted for the "Best Small Conveyancing Firm" of the year in the LFS Conveyancing Awards announced this week.
The conveyancing team, which deals with hundreds of property moves every year, had to submit a lengthy application form with details of how they manage the home buying and selling process. They also passed the mystery shopper round, receiving great feedback on customer service which was described as ‘friendly and efficient, with all procedures thoroughly explained.”
The award, judged by LawFirmServices Ltd, will see Pearsons pitted against around 300 other firms across the country..
As well as a mystery shopper and compliance check, to make it this far the team had to answer questions on: the challenges of the market place, why a client should instruct them rather than another firm and what sets them aside. Feedback from the mystery shopping said the firm was friendly, very professional and quotes were explained thoroughly.
The awards ceremony and winning firm will be announced in September.
Karen Pointek, head of the conveyancing team, said:
“We are delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. It’s been a fantastic year for our conveyancing team, every month we are getting busier and this is the icing on the cake.
“Small for us means thinking big for the client and looking at the bigger picture of their move. It’s potentially the biggest purchase of their lives and we are aware of that every step of the way,” added Karen.
“We’ve invested in a brand new portal system this year so our clients can log in and check their move 24/7 in real time whether they are on the train or relaxing at home at night. It’s not a 9-5 mentality and people want a firm which responds to their demands and that’s exactly what we have done here.
“Clients come back to us for their next moves and recommend us to family and friends so we must be doing something right and the team are pleased to have been shortlisted.”
