Proud to be Shortlisted in Prestigious Property Awards

The Conveyancing Solicitors at Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers have been shortlisted for two awards in the LEAP Modern Law Conveyancing Awards 2021.

The first award is for Conveyancing Firm of the Year – North of England, and the second is a brand new Resilience Award recognising the best response to the COVID pandemic. Demonstrating resourcefulness, tenacity and operational agility.

Conveyancing Firm of the Year - North of England

It’s been a busy year for Head of Conveyancing, Victoria Marshall and the team and she had this to say on receiving the nomination news:

“This is amazing and I am so proud of the team, it’s great to be recognised like this. LEAP had a record number of entries this year and so to just be shortlisted is such an achievement.

We’ve become the go to firm to get things done, our clients love us and regularly tell us so giving us 5 stars on Trustpilot, sending us champagne, flowers and chocolates every week when they complete – that we thinks speaks for itself.”

“Lockdown hit everyone hard but we developed our team, took time out to learn new things, managed our minds and wellness and then worked seven days a week in the months that followed to meet most stamp duty deadlines and get people the property they deserve,” Victoria added.

Resilience Award

Commenting on being shortlisted for the new Resilience Award Victoria said it was a total team effort:

“Everyone has needed resilience during the past 18 months. Our high streets are all that little bit different now, commercial properties have become residential, we all want more from our homes and garden, and outside space is at a premium. Residential property took a huge initial hit as the pandemic unfurled, but some teams, as in the case of the Pearson team, have come through stronger, fitter, leaner and ready for the post pandemic challenge.”

As a business during 2020 Pearson Solicitors have taken on several new staff, adapted to working from home and on top of all that we plan to open up two new offices to extend our legal and financial offerings.

“What we learnt from the pandemic as a local law firm is that clients work with people they like and trust – we knew that already but it was firmly cemented. We all became that little bit more local and community minded when we were taking our daily walks and so we are opening local offices and meeting and greeting clients as the marketplace and networking opens up,” said Victoria Marshall.

The LEAP Modern Law Conveyancing award 2021 winners will be announced at a special dinner in Liverpool at the end of November.
